The team leader Dr.Manoj Gumber has an experience of more than 20 years in the field of nephrology with special expertise in renal transplant. He was a former professor at IKDRC, where he had conducted more than 2000 renal transplants, managed a myriad of patients and continued his academic interests as well. He has a vast number of publications to his name, has conducted several workshops for students education, and has been guide for many thesis at IKDRC. He has always advocated and encouraged for cadaveric renal transplant, and has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the cadaveric renal transplant programme at IKDRC.

Dr. Sheetal Aggarwal Vachhani, is a Pediatric Nephrologist who after completing her MD paediatrics, continued to gain experience at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi and gradually developed interest in Pediatric Nephrology. She then did her Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, where she had wide variety of exposure to pediatric nephrology cases. Post her fellow ship she moved to Ahmedabad and has become part of the Kidney Care team. She continues her enthusiasm to learn and persist to gain experience in the field of renal transplant .
